ASKEM Films & Photo—and their strictly film division, ASKEM8 Wedding Films—was founded by filmmaker Todd Widdows and is Greenville, SC’s original wedding studio built entirely on real motion-picture film, including Super 8, 16mm, and 35mm.
For Todd, film is the perfect way to capture weddings because when it’s intentionally metered, lit, and scanned, it becomes vivid, cinematic, and emotionally alive.
Todd has spent years shooting, testing, and refining a dedicated analog workflow and offering both hybrid and film-only wedding packages to couples across the Southeast.
